Cocoa mousse

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 ripe avocados,
  • 40g dried figs (or other dried fruits),
  • 25ml maple syrup (only if the mousse is not sweet enough),
  • 25g cocoa powder,
  • 30g peanut butter,
  • 10g chia seeds,
  • 20ml water.

At least 12 hours in advance, pour hot water into smaller pieces cut dried figs in a smaller bowl so that the water is not unnecessarily much, but enough to immerse the figs completely. After 12 hours or the next day, the figs should already be soaked enough. You don't have to pour out the rest of the water, but if there isn't much, feel free to add it to the recipe.

Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone, carve out the pulp with a spoon and put it in a blender. Then we add figs, maple syrup, cocoa and peanut butter. We mix thoroughly to achieve a dense mass - mousse. Put the mousse in cups or bowls and sprinkle with chia seeds (eventually garnish with fresh fruit).
